Writ petition is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner, State-respondents and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that he participated in 1st State Level Selection Test 2016 (Upper Primary) and thereafter he was asked to appear before the Grievance Committee on 11th August, 2021 and the Grievance Committee passed an order which is at pages 32 and 33 of the writ petition wherefrom it transpires that petitioner remained absent before the Grievance Committee.

Hearing by the Grievance Committee was conducted in connection with second phase of selection process i.e. 1st SLST 2016 (Upper Primary) after

candidates were allowed to upload their testimonials in terms of the order passed by a coordinate Bench. From the document at pages 32 and 33 of the writ petition which is the order of the Grievance Committee it appears that petitioner may have raised grievance before the Grievance Committee in connection with his participation in the said selection process but it is found that petitioner remained absent which prevented the committee to consider the grievance of the petitioner. It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the West Bengal Central School Service Commission that entire selection process is complete excepting counseling which is to be conducted by the Commission in terms of the leave granted by the Hon'ble Division Bench after preparation of final merit list. Therefore, at this belated stage no relief can be granted to the petitioner in view of the fact that the petitioner remained absent before the Grievance Committee.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
