WPA 27323 of 2025 (Jit Mukherjee vs. State of West Bengal & Ors.) Mr. Samrat Mondal Mr. Rupam Chinya .... For the Petitioner Mr. Rajarshi Basu Mr. K. M. Hossain .... For the State Report submitted by the State is taken on record. At the outset, it is recorded that in the representation submitted by the petitioner before the police authority on 26th November, 2025 the petitioner has represented himself as an advocate though he is a student of law. The petitioner is cautioned not to repeat such act of personation in future. On merits, learned counsel for the State submits that case and counter case are pending by and between the petitioner and one Arnab Ghosh, both the matters being investigated.

Since the petitioner alleges that the local goons are hand in gloves with the police authority and investigation of the FIR lodged by him may be biased, the said investigation is directed to be monitored by the Superintendent of Police, Baruipur Police District.

The petitioner is at liberty to produce the pen drive produced before this Court which according to him contains video photograph of the alleged incident, before the Superintendent of Police, Baruipur Police District who shall cause necessary enquiry with regard to the same and take appropriate steps in accordance with law. Required

assistance/protection to the petitioner as recorded in the order dated 28th November, 2025 shall continue. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
