The petitioner is aggrieved that a complaint addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Chanditala Police Station, Hooghly has not been enquired into by the police.

The police have filed a report in the form of instructions, addressed to the learned Government Pleader, dated 26.06.2023, is kept with the record. 3.

It appears from the instructions that police have taken out proceedings under Sections 107 and 116 of the Cr. P.C.

This Court finds no inaction on the part of the police.

The petitioner may seek appropriate civil or statutory remedies in this regard before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
