The petitioners are the mother in law and daughter in law and are widows who have been facing ordeal to protect their property. The petitioners seek protection.

It appears that a civil suit is pending between the parties. However, since the petitioners apprehend threat to their life and property at the instance of the private respondents, the police authority is directed to keep strict vigil over the area in view of the strained relationship between the parties and render necessary assistance/protection to the petitioners as and when required.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
