The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-issuance of a duplicate death certificate in respect of the petitioner's brother-in-law. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite making representation, the concerned authorities have not taken any steps to issue a duplicate death certificate in respect of the brother-in-law of the petitioner.

The Panchayat Authorites are represented and submit that, they have no objection if a duplicate death certificate is issued in respect of the brother-inlaw of the petitioner. In view of the above, W.P.A. No. 27761 of 2024 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 or the respondent no. 4 to issue a duplicate death

certificate in respect of the brother-in-law of the petitioner in accordance with law.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
