Case No.11 of dated 05.01.2025 under Sections 21(c)/22(c)/27A/28/29 of the NDPS Act.

Panda ... for the petitioners Mr. Antarikhya Basu Mr. Sandip Kundu ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that other than the statement of a co-accused there is no other material available against the present petitioners.

Learned counsel for the State relies on a document which is taken on record, and submits that there are criminal antecedents against the present petitioners involving offences under the NDPS Act.

Besides, a proclamation and attachment has been issued on 18.08.2025 against the present petitioners.

Considering the materials available in the case diary, the criminal antecedent of the petitioners, the fact that a proclamation has been issued against the petitioners and the restrictions contained in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
