Md. Abdur Rakib Mr. Biswajit Sarkar Mr. M. Mehedi .... For the Petitioner. Ms. Jhuma Chakraborty Mr. S. Adak .... For the State. The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the recruitment process for the post at the Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samity level in the District of Murshidabad.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the list dated 13th August, 2024, containing the names of 145 candidates does not contain the name of the petitioner and the concerned respondents authorities have the mandate to appoint another twenty candidates having necessary qualifications. Hence, the writ petition is premature since the final list in respect of the candidates has not yet been published.

In view of the fact the final list containing the total number of candidate has not been published till date, the apprehension of the petitioner is premature and misconceived. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to take necessary steps in accordance with law after publication

of the final list by the State respondents, if the circumstances so warrant.

With the above directions WPA 27774 of 2024 stands dismissed.
