Mr. Subir Das, Block Development Officer, Diamond Harbour-I is personally present in Court in response to the Contempt Rule issued against him. Affidavit-of-compliance has been filed by the Block Development Officer.

It has been mentioned that the said officer joined the post on 12th October, 2022 and the matter came to his notice only after the Court passed order in the contempt application. The officer has prayed apology for the delay in complying the Court's order. It appears that a reasoned order has been passed by the said officer. The officer is directed to take steps for execution of the directions as mentioned in his order dated 6th October, 2023.

The personal appearance of the alleged contemnor stands dispensed with.

The contempt application stands disposed of.
