1. The petitioners challenge the recruitment rules relying on which the petitioners participated in the recruitment process, SLST 2025. It appears that the recruitment notification was published in the month of May, 2025. The petitioners applied relying on the said notification. The instant writ petition challenging the said notification has been filed in November, 2026.

2. There is no explanation provided in the writ petition as regards the delay in approaching the Court.

3. The Court is of the opinion that as the petitioners accepted the notification and acted in accordance with the same by filing application for recruitment, accordingly, they cannot turn around at such a delayed point of time to challenge certain provisions of the said notification. By this time the recruitment process has reached the stage of publication of interview list and the final merit list is due to be published.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
