Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of Sessions Sl. No.538 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track, 1st Court, Berhampore, Murshidabad, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after commitment of the case to the learned trial Court, charge was framed on 21st March, 2024. Out of five charge sheeted witnesses, three witnesses have been examined.

In view of the above, learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within two years from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, CRR 4903 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
