Police complaint was lodged within five years of marriage. De facto complainant recorded a statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code where she claims that she was administered poison.

De facto complainant was hospitalized. Contemporaneous medical documents suggest a case of poisoning. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 5203 of 2023 is dismissed.
