Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is the married sister-in-law. Petitioner was not involved in the police case.

The police case is dated March 1, 2020. Police filed charge sheet, inter alia, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Materials in the case diary place the petitioner at the place and the time of occurrence of the incident.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and the long absconsion of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 5213 of 2023 is dismissed.
