1. Status report filed by the State be kept with the records. We see that today is the date fixed by the learned Trial Court for examination of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Therefore, the trial is on the verge of conclusion. Commercial quantity of contraband item was recovered from the exclusive possession of the petitioner.

2. In view of the aforesaid and in view of the restrictions in Section of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage. The prayer for bail is rejected.

3. The application being CRM (NDPS) 1816 of 2024 is accordingly dismissed.
