30.01.2024 SL No. 455 Ct No. 29 SB C.R.M. (A) 5172 of 2023 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Salar P.S. Case No. 107 of 2023 dated 01.5.2023 under Sections 147/148/149/186/189/332/352/427/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 / 27 of the Arms Act and Section 9B of the Explosive Substances Act.

And In the matter of: Khairul Sk. @ Khirul & Ors. Md. Hafiz Ali ...for the Petitioners ....................

... for the State Materials in the case diary suggest that the petitioners played active role in assaulting police officers who sustained injuries in course of discharging their duties. Enlarging the petitioners on anticipatory bail will send a wrong signal to the society.

Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioners in the incident we are not granting anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail, is thus, rejected.
