1. Petitioner is in custody for 558 days. He contends there is no progress in the matter after rejection of bail by this court. He prays for ail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State submits petitioner is one of the principal accused. He along with one Sarawar (absconding accused) had fired at the victim resulting in his death.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner actively participated in the murder. Co-accused Sarawar is absconding. As a result, there was delay in the proceeding.
