The petitioner, with some allegations, have made written representation before the State Transport Authority, West Bengal, i.e. dated October 23, 2024.

Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate for the petitioner seeks that the said representation of the petitioner be considered by the respondent authorities.

Report has been filed by the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal dated November 25, 2024. May the relevant portion thereof be quoted, as hereinbelow:- "It is pertinent to mention here that, as per available office record, the vehicle WB-55A-1604 was replaced by WB-55B-2380 on 15.03.2021 & the vehicle WB-55B-2380 was also replaced by WB-55B6211 on 19.07.2022. As per information from 'vahan'

the owner of the vehicle WB-55B-6211 is Arup Kumar Goswami, S/o.-Late Shakti Kumar Goswami and tagged with the above mentioned permit (copy enclosed)".

Considering the submissions of the learned lawyers for the parties and the records, the Court finds it proper to dispose of this writ petition by directing the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal/respondent no. 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated October 23, 2024, after grant of reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, for hearing.

Let the same be disposed of by the respondent no. 3 by dint of a reasoned order and positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition No. WPA 27858 of 2024 is disposed of.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
