This is a writ petition which had been filed as far back as in 2014. The matter was appearing in the Warning List and had on 12 May 2026 been adjourned on the ground that the petitioner wanted to take instructions. Despite a categorical direction, to serve the CESC Limited no service has been effected till date.

In view of the above, WPA 26267 of 2014 stands dismissed for default. It is obvious that the petitioner is neither interested nor diligent in proceeding with this petition and is simply procrastinating the hearing of the same on false and frivolous pretexts.
