1. The petitioner says that she has no involvement in the alleged illegal carriage of commercial quantity of contraband items. There was no recovery from her. Recovery was from one Sabita Khatun.

2. We see from the seizure list that seizure was made from three accused persons including this petitioner.

Further, investigation is yet to be completed and charge-sheet is yet to be filed.

3. In view of the aforesaid and in view of commercial quantity of brown sugar being involved, which is a contraband item and also in view of the restrictions in Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, we are not Signed By :

inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage. The prayer for bail is rejected.

4. The application being CRM (NDPS) 1818 of 2024 is accordingly dismissed.
