The present revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of application under Section 17(4A) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 (Seth Kirodimal Charity Trust vs. West Bengal University of Animal And Fishery Sciences) in A.R.C Case No.01/17/2020 pending before the Additional Rent Controller at Sealdah.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said application has been filed on 24th January, 2020 and till date the application has not been heard for which the petitioner is being prejudiced.

Considering the nature of relief prayed for service is dispensed with.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that the trial court shall dispose of the application under Section 17(4A) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 in

accordance with law and preferably within a period of three months from the date of this order.

The revisional application being CO 4023 of 2024 stands disposed of.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned trial court at once.

Urgent Xerox certified copies of this order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the learned counsel for the parties as expeditiously as possible, in compliance of usual formalities.
