The present revisional application has been preferred by the wife/petitioner praying for transfer of Matrimonial Suit No. 355 of 2021 pending before the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Bankura to the Court of learned District Judge, Paschim Medinipur.

On hearing the parties, it appears that the matrimonial suit has been preferred by the husband/plaintiff who is admittedly a police officer and is a resident of Bankura. On the other hand, the petitioner submits that she is a resident of Paschim Medinipur and other proceedings are pending before the Courts at Paschim Medinipur. The

petitioner has also threat perception of appearing at Bankura on the ground that petitioner is a police officer.

It is further submitted that it is also inconvenient for the petitioner/wife to travel to Bankura as she has no place to stay there. On the other hand, the plaintiff/opposite party herein being a police officer will not be inconvenienced if the matter is transferred to the Court at Paschim Medinipur.

Considering the said facts this revisional application stands disposed of with the direction that the Matrimonial Suit being 355 of 2021 be withdrawn from the file of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Bankura and be transferred to the Court of learned District Judge, Paschim Medinipur with a direction that the learned District Judge may retain the record for disposal or transfer the same to any other competent Court for disposal.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned Family Court, Bankura and the District Judge, Paschim Medinipur.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned counsel for the parties on usual undertakings.
