The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authority in not changing the electrical wire which is connected to the submersible pump installed by the petitioner.

It is the case of the petitioner that respondent granted electricity connection to the petitioner's submersible pump by installing the electric meter, however, the same was not functional due to defective wire attached to it. The petitioner made several complaints, however, the respondents failed to rectify the defect. Hence, aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent the present writ petition has been filed. 3.

Learned Counsel for the respondent submits that the respondents have to construct permanent poles to carry out the repair of the electrical wire. It is further contended by the Counsel for the respondent

that since the cultivation season is underway, it will not be feasible for them to carry out the necessary erection of poles as well as change of electrical wire. Learned Counsel for WBSEDCL, on instruction, submits that they will be in a position to address the grievances of the petitioner by June, 2025 subject to compliance of all necessary formalities on the part of the petitioner.

In view of the statement made by the learned Counsel for the respondent, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ Petition with a direction to the respondent to address the petitioner's grievances by June, 2025.

With this direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
