Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner highlights the delay in the lodgment of the first information report. She submits that the police complaint was lodged 11 years after the marriage.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. In particular, he submits that the petitioner went to the residence of the Investigating Officer and threatened the Investigating Officer with dire consequences for which the Investigating Officer lodged a separate police complaint against the petitioner. Considering the materials in the case dairy and considering the conduct of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 5831 of 2022 is dismissed.
