For the State The present writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondents to consider his representation and also to investigate the persons behind the scam in respect of the land in question so that the private respondent cannot sell the same.

It appears from the pleadings of the petitioner that the petitioner herein was allegedly working as a labourer with the private respondent no. 6 in the plot in question which is a 'Bheri' (fishery).

Subsequently, in 2018 the private respondent no. 6 has engaged new labour for his fishery and as such it is submitted that the petitioner has suffered financial

loss for non-payment of wages by the private respondent.

Learned counsel appearing for the State has placed a report wherein it appears that the property in this case is a water body and the same is vested with the Government of West Bengal.

Relevant copies of record of rights have been annexed.

Considering the submissions of the parties and the materials on record it appears that the petitioner's dispute with the respondent no. 6 is a private dispute and as such the writ application is disposed of being not maintainable and the same stands dismissed.

Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
