The learned advocate representing the petitioner has submitted that, following the demolition of the old building, a new G+3 structure was erected.

However, the petitioner was unable to present a sanctioned plan for the said building. Nonetheless, it is submitted that the Corporation has already demolished the building.

Mr. Debjit Mukherjee, the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Corporation, contends that the petitioner constructed the new building without

obtaining the requisite sanctioned plan from the Corporation. As a result, the Corporation partially demolished the building on the 25th and 26th of July of this year, with plans to demolish the remaining portion of the structure in the near future.

The special officer appointed by this Court has also submitted that the construction in question is a new one, and the petitioner has failed to provide any sanctioned plan.

It is evident that the petitioner proceeded with the construction of a G+3 building without the Corporation's approval.

In light of these submissions, I find no grounds to entertain this writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 27806 of 2024 is dismissed.

The special officer stands discharged.
