Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of G.R.Case No. 417 of 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Chandannagore, Hooghly, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the application.

This Court is informed that the case is pending since 2022 and charge is yet to be framed. The next date of hearing before the learned Magistrate has been fixed on March 10, 2026. In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to take the proceedings to its logical conclusion within one year from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the parties and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions the instant revisional application being CRR No. 4926 of 2024 is disposed of.
