Petitioner has come up with the present writ petition, inter alia, praying for general transfer on the ground of distance being approved Clerk of a Government aided School. The transfer application was made by the petitioner on the designated portal on 16th December, 2021 and the same was processed by the school authority first and by the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), North 24 Parganas and thereafter the District Inspector of Schools forwarded the transfer application of the petitioner on 31st December, 2021 to the office of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. The steps taken by the concerned respondent authorities are reflected from a document which is at page 20 of the writ petition. Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned

authority of the Commission to decide the transfer application.

Commission is represented by the learned advocate who submits that perhaps contemporaneous decision could not be taken on the transfer application of the petitioner due to suspension of Utsashree portal.

The writ petition stands disposed of directing the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission being the respondent no.3 to take decision on the transfer application of the petitioner by four weeks from the date communication of this order.

The decision to be taken by the respondent no.3 shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

However, it is made clear that suspension of Utsashree portal shall not be a ground in rejecting the transfer application of the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
