The petitioner, being a member of Scheduled Tribe community had participated in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test ("NEET") UG-2023 for admission in MBBS/BDS courses.

The petitioner is alleging that in the said Test, some of the candidates though had participated as the members of Scheduled Tribe community but actually they do not belong to such community.

The process of NEET UG-2023 was concluded long back, as such challenge to the said selection process at a belated stage, has become infructuous, W.P.A. 26583 of 2023 is therefore dismissed as such without any order as to costs.

It is however, made clear that this order will not prevent the petitioner to raise dispute regarding the caste certificate of the persons against whom she is making the aforementioned allegations before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
