Heard the learned advocates appearing for the parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition against non-consideration and sitting over his representation dated 4th August, 2017 being Annexure P-14 to the writ petition relating to the compensation in respect of the land in question made before the Land Acquisition Collector, Purba Medinipore/respondent no.3 and prays for direction upon the respondents to dispose of his aforesaid representation.

Mr. De, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State respondents does not object to such prayer of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions of the parties, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.3 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 4th August, 2017 in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Let it be recorded that this Court has not gone into the merit of this case and the respondents will decide the case of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law. The application being WPA 28855 of 2017 is disposed of.
