It is the contention of the petitioner that a matrimonial suit being 559 of 2019 was filed by the petitioner/husband praying for annulment of marriage on the ground of mental instability. It appears from the documents annexed that the opposite party/wife prima facie has a psychological problem and treatment is required for the same. The order under challenge here is an order by which the trial Judge has granted an amount of 7000/- per month as maintenance to the opposite party/wife.

As the amount has been directed to be paid since the date of filing as per the guidelines of the

Supreme Court the petitioner submits that severe hardship is being faced by the petitioner husband in paying the arrear amount. The matrimonial suit is still pending disposal.

Accordingly, the petitioner is granted 10 installment to pay the arrear amount in equal amount along with the current amount of maintenance as directed.

Fraction, if any, to be paid with the last installment.

Civil Revision is accordingly disposed of.

The amount of maintenance and the first installment is to be paid by the 20th March, 2025, and the maintenance and installment for the subsequent months shall be paid accordingly each month.

Trial Court to proceed expeditiously.

Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the Trial Court at once.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, being given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
