The petitioner is a contractor with WBSEDCL.

The petitioner is running an enterprise in the name of Shree Maya Enterprise.

The petitioner had approached the Government of West Bengal, Department of Power vide application dated 22.08.2024 wherein the petitioner had stated that he has not been issued any purchase order by WBSEDCL.

The Government of West Bengal, Department of Power had replied to his letter on 06.09.2024 wherein they had asked the Chairman and Managing Director, WBSEDCL to consider petitioner's request and to take necessary action and inform the petitioner as well as the Government of West Bengal, Department of Power. It is contended by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that no decision has been taken in terms of the letter dated

06.09.2024. It is further contended by the learned Counsel for the petitioner Mr. Suman Dutta that several representations were also filed by the petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the respondent states that they will decide petitioner's representation within a period of six weeks after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the Petitioner.

In view the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to decide the petitioner's representation, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the Petitioner with in a period of six weeks from the date of passing of this order.

With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
