Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the writ petition has become infructuous as a final report has already been submitted by the Investigating Agency seeking discharge of the accused. The petitioner being the de facto complainant intends to challenge the same by filing a protest petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of without any order, even as to costs.
