BIBEK CHAUDHURI, J. : - 1.

This is an application for expeditious disposal of complaint case no. 480 of 2022 under section 12 of the Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act read with section 18, 19 and 23 of the Act presently pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court at Barasat. 2.

On perusal of averment made in the instant revision and having heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner this Court is of the view that the instant revision can be disposed of here and now with the assistance of the learned Advocate for the state. Accordingly, Ms. Eshita Dutta learned Advocate is requested to assist this Court on behalf of the state.

Appointment of Ms. Eshita Dutta learned advocate be regularized by the learned Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal. 3.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the marriage of the parties was solemnized on 26th January, 2018 according to Special Marriage Act. After marriage the private opposite parties started mental cruelty upon the petitioner and she was ousted from her matrimonial home on 7th July, 2021. Thereafter the petitioner filed the instant complaint against the opposite parties before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate which was later transferred to the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court at Barasat. The opposite parties entered appearance and fixed 24th November, 2022 for hearing residence and protection order but the opposite parties prayed for time. The next date is fixed on 14th March, 2023.

Under such circumstances, petitioners have prayed for expeditious disposal of the case.

In view of such circumstances, the instant revision is disposed of directing the trial court to dispose of the above mentioned case as expeditiously as possible.
