Evidence of payment of court fees is taken on record.

The writ petitioners are aggrieved that appropriate weightage for training qualification has not been given in the district by the DPSC Purba Medinipur and Paschim medinipur in the recruitment process to the post of Assistant Teachers conducted for the year 2009. Interviews for Purba Medinipur were completed in the year 2012 and interviews for Paschim Medinipur were completed in the year 2009.

The petitioners' raking up in issues 12 years after completion of the recruitment processes, are guilty of inordinate and unexplained delay and laches. The petitioners must be deemed to have acquiesced to any action or omission on the part of the DPSCs concerned.

Counsels for the DPSCs have also raised objections with regard to misjoinder of parties i.e. candidates of two DPSCs have been clubbed in one writ petition. Such recruitment processes conducted by the two DPSCs are completely independent of one and another.

For the reasons stated herein above, this petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
