2. The petitioner's prayer for issuance of the reserved category certificate is pending consideration at the end of the respondent authority.

3. Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Sub-Divisional Officer, Haldia Sub-Division, being the respondent no. 4 herein to take necessary steps for disposing of the prayer of the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. All necessary enquiries shall be conducted upon prior notice to the petitioner and any other necessary party.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
