Petitioner submits husband of the victim had taken loan from him. When he demanded money, he has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Inspite of notice, nobody appears for the victim. 4.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim. In her statement victim states there was monetary transaction between them. There is delay in lodging the FIR. Possibility of false implication owning to monetary dispute cannot be ruled out.

Hence, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Monirul Sekh @ ManiRul Shaikh be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 28 th of November 2024 05:52:42 PM

also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS and on further condition petitioner while on bail shall meet the investigating officer once in a week until further orders. He shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. 7.
