IA NO: CAN/1/2024 Mr. Sayantan Hazra ..for the Petitioner.

1. This contempt application has been filed alleging disobedience of the order passed in WPA(P) 13 of 2024 dated 18.1.2024.

2. By the said order the writ petition was disposed of directing the respondent no.3 in the writ petition to take note of the grievance of the writ petitioner, direct one of its officers to cause an inspection of the area and thereafter proceed in accordance with law.

3. Since no direction was issued to furnish any reply to the writ petitioner, this contempt application has been filed.

4. Since the third respondent in the writ petition, namely, the District Magistrate, Murshidabad was issued with certain directions, we direct the District Magistrate to send a communication to the writ

petitioner intimating about the action taken pursuant to the order dated 18.1.2024 in WPA(P) 13 of 2024.

5. This direction be complied with within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the contempt application stands disposed of.
