The report also reflects that she do not want to pursue with the case and intends to withdraw the Bidhannagar North P.S. Case No. 42 of 2023. The present case arose out of matrimonial dispute and discord. As the parties have entered into an amicable settlement, I am of the view that further continuation of the proceedings would result in harassment of both the parties.

Accordingly, all further proceedings arising out of Bidhannagar North P.S. Case No. 42 of 2023 dated 22.3.2023 including the charge-sheet submitted therein and pending before the ld. ACJM, Bidhannagar, is hereby quashed.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4540 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
