Supplementary affidavit and affidavit-of-service filed in Court today are taken on record.

The petitioner complains of inaction on the part of Mandir Bazar Police Station in respect of his complaint against the private respondents and the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Mandir Bazar of forgery and for registering forged and fictitious documents.

The private respondents in turn have registered a complaint against the petitioner and also against the local Block Land & Land Reforms Officer.

Two FIRs have been registered, namely, FIR No. 504 of 2022 dated 18th December, 2022 under Sections 419/468/471/120B of the Indian Penal Code and FIR No. 388 of 2021 dated 14th November, 2021

under Sections 419/468/471/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Since both the parties alleged a criminality against the employees of the office of the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Mandir Bazar, it is expected that the investigation into both the FIRs be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from date.

Let report in final form be submitted before the jurisdictional Magistrate within the time frame stipulated hereinabove.

The petitioner as well as the private respondents shall co-operate with the concerned Investigating Officer of Mandir Bazar Police Station and produce all necessary documents.

The report of the Inspector-in-charge, Mandir Bazar Police Station dated 5th April, 2023 filed in Court today be taken on record.

Since no affidavit has been called for from the respondents, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by them. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
