The petitioners allege that their names had been included as beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yajona, but thereafter deleted. All the petitioners reside within the jurisdiction of Bibhishanpur gram panchayat. The specific allegation is that the petitioners had been included in the list of beneficiaries in 2018, but thereafter their names were deleted without any reason. Accordingly, the petitioners filed representation before the authorities. The authorities have not yet taken steps. Hence, the writ petition has been filed.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Block Development Officer, Bhagawanpur-I Block to treat the writ petition as a representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law. A reasoned order shall be passed in respect of each of the petitioners and communicated to them. The petitioners shall be represented by a learned advocate.

This Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioners.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioners will serve a copy of the writ petition along with a server copy of this order upon the concerned authority.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
