Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner seeks a direction upon the police authority not to arrest him in connection with the FIR No. 341 dated October 29, 2025 registered by the Thakurpukur Police Station.

It appears from the report submitted by the State that no case has been registered against the petitioner in Haridevpur Police Station. In the case referred to by the petitioner, the petitioner has been interrogated in response to a notice issued upon him under Section 35(3) of the BNSS. He was released after interrogation. Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, this Court is of the view that since the petitioner has been cooperating in investigation no

coercive steps be taken against him in connection with the said matter subject to the petitioner continuing to cooperate in investigation. However, the investigation of the case shall continue.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
