Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record. Report submitted by Mr. Rafiqul Islam, learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The report encloses the statement and the declaration of the private opposite party/de facto complainant. Statement and declaration reflects that the de facto complainant, namely, Kiran Singh intends to pursue the criminal case. Accordingly, I direct that the prayer for quashing so advanced on the ground of compromise is not maintainable and the same is dismissed. So far as the issues relating to the merits of the case are concerned, petitioners would be at liberty to take up the contentions before the learned trial court at the appropriate stage. Learned trial court would see that as the case was initiated in the year 2023 and number of persons have been implicated, efforts be taken to expedite the process of trial if the learned trial court is of the opinion that there are materials for framing charge against the accused persons.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4544 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
