Mr. Iqbal Kabir Mr. Aniket Mitra ... for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits they are the parents-in-law of the victim housewife. It is also submitted that they have been falsely implicated in the instant case. They pray for bail.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits victim committed suicide within one year of marriage. She was pregnant at the time of occurrence. We have considered the materials on record. Pregnant housewife was subjected to torture. She committed suicide within one year of marriage.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.
