The writ petition was allowed on December 21, 2022 and the matter was directed to be listed again for filing the affidavit of compliance by the University. It appears that the University preferred an appeal against the said order dated December 21, 2022. The Appeal Court dismissed the appeal on February 27, 2023.

Today, it has been submitted by the University as well as by the petitioner that order dated December 21, 2022 has been complied with. A sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- (rupees one lakh) has been credited to the account of the petitioner at the behest of the University in compliance with the said order.

Accordingly, nothing remains to be further decided in this matter. WPA 27669 of 2022 stands disposed of accordingly.
