Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for two years. He contends that there is slow progress in trial. There is no direct evidence connecting the petitioner with the murder. He prays for bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and contends that four witnesses have been examined. 3.

We have considered the materials on record. The petitioner is the husband of the victim lady. On the date in the morning, they had left together. Thereafter body of the victim was recovered. Four witnesses have already been examined. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
