And In Re : Khokan Mondal @ Khokan Mandal ..... petitioner Mr. Prosenjit Mukherjee ... for the petitioner Mr. Ranabir Roychowdhury Mr. Mainak Gupta ... for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits he is in custody for 150 days. It is also submitted that he has been falsely implicated. He prays for bail.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. There are ample materials connecting the petitioner with the murder. He had absconded for seven years resulting in delay in trial. Date has been fixed for consideration of charge.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
