1. The parties to the instant case as initiated under Section 482 Cr.P.C. are represented by their respective learned Advocates.

2. At the very outset my attention is drawn to the photocopy of the mediation report dated August 22, 2024 which is annexed at page No. 12 of CRAN 6 of 2024.

3. It is submitted at the Bar that from the final report of the mediation dated August 22, 2024 the dispute between the petitioners and the private opposite party No. 2 has been settled and the petitioners and the opposite party No. 2 have acted in terms of the settlement as arrived at in mediation.

4. It is thus submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioners as well as by the learned Advocate for the opposite party No. 2 that an appropriate order may be passed for quashing of the instant proceeding pursuant to the settlement arrived at by and between the petitioners and the opposite party No. 2 as reflected in the mediation report dated August

22, 2024.

After careful consideration of the entire materials as placed before this Court especially the mediation report dated August 22, 2024 and after hearing the learned Advocates for the contending parties to the instant proceeding it appears that the matrimonial dispute as arose between the present petitioners and the private opposite party No. 2 have come to an end. This Court thus finds no reason to allow for proceeding with the B.G.R No. 3036 of 2011 any further as pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 8th Court at Alipore, South 24 Parganas arising out of Kasba P.S. Case No. of dated 01.05.2011 under Sections 498A/406/354/34 IPC.

6. In view of the discussion made hereinabove and to prevent abuse of the process of Court and to also secure the ends of justice, all further proceeding of B.G.R No. 3036 of 2011 now pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 8th Court at Alipore, South 24 Parganas stands hereby quashed.

7. Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 2999 of 2014 along with CRAN 6 of the 2024 is disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
