Case No. 2100 of 2018 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Serampore, Hooghly, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This Court is informed that the charges have been framed and out of 10 charge sheeted witnesses, 1 witness has been partly examined.

In view of the above, learned Trial Court is directed to take the proceedings to its logical conclusion within two (2) years from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR No. 4949 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
