We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the mother-in-law of the victim lady. Victim had married her son secretly. When she was informed about the incident, she demanded dowry for social recognition of the marriage. Victim committed suicide. 3.

In view of the nature of allegations, we are of the opinion the allegation of demand of dowry is primarily leveled against the petitioner. 4.
