Police filed charge-sheet.

Post-mortem report of the victim suggests that the victim received multiple superficial cut injury on the forearm. Cause of death was stated to be asphyxia by hanging.

Materials in the case diary suggests that the victim used to be tortured as well as assaulted at her matrimonial home. Petitioner before us is one of the person involved therein. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Thus, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (A) 5257 of 2023 is dismissed.
