The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of G.R. case no. 1769 of 2021 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 6th Court, Sealdah.

This Court is informed that none of the four charged-sheeted witnesses has been examined as yet.

In view of the above, learned trial Court is directed to take up the case for consideration of charge on the next date fixed before him and if the same is not possible due to unforeseen circumstances, within two weeks thereafter. Learned trial Court shall take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within one year from the date of consideration of charge without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.
